Job Description

Our Account Manager works closely with Key Account Managers and plays a strategic role in managing high-impact opportunities within the sales channel vertical. Success in this role depends on your ability to maintain key relationships and lead the execution of critical processes within the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain Strategic Relationships with Key Customer Accounts

  • Proactively engage with existing customers to maintain strategic relationships.
  • Anticipate potential service problems and actively work toward addressing them.
  • Consolidate customer satisfaction data to drive better solutions and recommendations.
  • Understand assigned account’s strategic priorities and develop value-added programs focused on holistic solution selling (packaging complementary products across business units).

2. Ongoing Fulfillment and Delivery

  • Accountable for regular order-taking, fulfillment, and delivery post-conversion for assigned accounts.
  • Provide insights to develop sales strategies that prioritize holistic solution selling.

3. Manage Distributor Performance

  • Build strategic relationships across a network of distributors to ensure order fulfillment.
  • Provide functional leadership to distributor sales teams in day-to-day demand generation.
  • Train and motivate distributor salesforce teams.

4. Provide Insights on Sales Landscape and Forecast

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts as inputs for demand planning and SIOP processes.
  • Analyze sales and industry trends and make recommendations to KAM for long-range planning.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Biological/Medical Sciences, or Medical Technology.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant sales and/or account management experience, preferably in a multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare company.

  • Proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent command of English and local language (written and spoken).
