Job Description

The Human Resources Business Partner partners with site leaders to implement Human Resources programs, initiatives, and strategies that support business objectives, serving as the primary point of contact for leaders and associates in matters related to employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, communications, talent development, employee services, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Primary Duties

  • Responsible for providing Human Resources support and leadership for the sterilization operation, serving as the primary point of contact for leaders and associates. Partners with operational leaders to implement Human Resources programs and initiatives that support business objectives, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders and associates regarding employee relations, policy interpretation, performance management, conflict resolution, and other Human Resources practices.
  • Conduct employee investigations, administer disciplinary actions, and support associate separation processes in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Support talent attraction, selection, and onboarding processes in coordination with Talent Acquisition and operational leaders.
  • Coordinate and oversee associate services and local Human Resources programs, including, as applicable, transportation, cafeteria services, employee events, support for payroll-related matters, benefits, and other workforce support programs, while promoting continuous service improvement.
  • Implement and coordinate programs and initiatives related to performance management, talent development, employee engagement, communications, recognition, and associate experience.
  • Monitor Human Resources metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, discipline, vacancies, and headcount, identifying improvement opportunities and developing corrective actions as needed.
  • Represents Human Resources in operational meetings, cross-functional activities, and workforce-related forums to ensure effective communication across operational functions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal procedures, applicable employment regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Maintains close partnership with the Sr. HR Business Partner to ensure alignment and implementation of site Human Resources priorities, programs, and initiatives.
  • Performs other Human Resources related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Labor Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or equivalent position.
  • Experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and policy administration.
  • Experience implementing Human Resources programs and initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Experience partnering with leaders to drive organizational development, employee engagement, talent retention, and talent development initiatives.
  • Experience in manufacturing, operations, or regulated environments preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Fluent in English language (written, read and oral).
  • Knowledge of standard computer programs and databases (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective analytical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, influencing, consulting, coaching, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage confidential information, and exercise sound professional judgment in decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a matrixed and results-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of applicable labor laws and Human Resources practices.
