Job Description Summary
The Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate US GAAP and local GAAP statutory reporting for assigned legal entities. You will provide full support to the Finance Manager to enable sign-off on US GAAP, local GAAP statutory reporting, and all compliance-related matters.You will work closely with the Finance Manager and other members of the Entity Finance COE, and collaborate with our General Accounting COE, BP&A teams, Tax, Treasury.

Main responsibilities will include:
Provide accurate US GAAP and local GAAP statutory reporting for BD Kiestra.
Lead all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the direct team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Collaborate with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, legal partners, and tax authorities to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and accounting practices.
Partner with internal stakeholders including GA COE, BP&A, Tax, Treasury, and business units to support their financial reporting needs.
Work with other Finance Managers across the organization to drive standard methodologies and standardization of processes.
Ensure timely submission of all compliance-related matters, including statutory accounts and tax returns.
Handle external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and legal advisors, with support from Senior Finance Manager/Country Controller.
Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes by monitoring activities, assessing risks, and implementing improvements.
Lead projects within the Entity Finance COE to improve financial reporting processes and efficiency.
Provide full support to the Country Controller/Senior Finance Manager for US GAAP and local GAAP statutory reporting and compliance matters.
About you
Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Minimum of five years of managerial experience in local finance.
Deep understanding of local GAAP compliance requirements.
Knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage.
Strong analytical thinking skills with a validated ability to problem-solve and drive process effectiveness.
Experience working in a matrix organization.
Emotional intelligence and ability to build positive relationships within a matrix environment and with external partners.
Experience working with Shared Service Centers and ERP implementations.
Proven track record to handle projects and drive results.
Strong influencing skills at all levels of the organization.
