Job Description Summary
The BD Excellence Junior Engineer plays a key role in driving Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, data analytics, and process excellence at the manufacturing site. This position supports cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and implement improvement opportunities that drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.The ideal candidate is highly skilled in data analysis (Excel & digital tools), passionate about Lean Manufacturing, and demonstrates proactive leadership to engage operators, engineers, and leaders in achieving site targets. This role is designed for individuals with high potential to grow into future CI leaders.

Responsibilities:
Support the execution of Lean & Continuous Improvement projects (Kaizen, VSM, Yamazumi, 5S, Golden Zone layouts, etc.) across production areas.
Develop and maintain data dashboards and analytics using Excel, Power BI or similar tools to monitor KPIs such as OEE, UPH, scrap, labor efficiency, and cycle times.
Lead small-scale improvement initiatives with clear objectives, timelines, and financial impact.
Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and identify productivity bottlenecks to support process optimization.
Partner with manufacturing, quality, logistics, and engineering teams to standardize processes, reduce waste, and sustain improvements.
Support implementation of new tools and digital technologies for process visibility and decision-making.
Prepare and present reports, A3s, and improvement charters to site leadership and functional teams.
Participate in Kaizen events and facilitate work sessions to collect data, brainstorm solutions, and define action plans.
Promote and sustain a culture of Continuous Improvement by engaging operators and supervisors, encouraging idea generation, and recognizing contributions.
Minimum Requirement:
Degree level qualification; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
