Job Description Summary

This position requires working in warehouse areas and must be able to operate powered industrial equipment including but not limited to pallet jack, deep reach lift truck and counter balance fork-life truck. The Inventory Control Auditor is responsible for control and maintenance of inventory as it relates to Stock. The Inventory Control Auditor will be responsible for auditing outbound shipments for accuracy and damages. Must communicate with the Inventory Control Manager and Quality Manager; research and create detailed reports; implement and help Inventory Control Manager monitor all procedures and processes as they relate to Inventory Control. Ensue procedures, work instructions and reference guides are maintained and current.

This position requires working in warehouse areas and must be able to operate powered industrial equipment including but not limited to pallet jack, deep reach lift truck and counter balance fork-life truck.  The Inventory Control Auditor is responsible for control and maintenance of inventory as it relates to Stock. The Inventory Control Auditor will be responsible for auditing outbound shipments for accuracy and damages. Must communicate with the Inventory Control Manager and Quality Manager; research and create detailed reports; implement and help Inventory Control Manager monitor all procedures and processes as they relate to Inventory Control.  Ensue procedures, work instructions and reference guides are maintained and current.

Daily Objectives:

  • Perform outbound order audits to assist with KDG objectives.

  • Cycle counting bulk and pick aisles to assist with KDG objectives.

  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner in order to support operations.

  • Assist associate with damages in order to maintain operational work flow.

  • Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions.

  • Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.

  • Verify proper sku/lot/quantity counts as necessary.

  • May be required to transport pallets by MHE and operate wrapper as required.

  • Must follow all safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses. 

Safety and Security

  • Associates are responsible for performing their job activities in a safe and reasonable manner and in accordance with safety requirements.

  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conduct all activities in a manner that promotes a safe environment. 

  • All injuries, accidents, unsafe acts, hazards or conditions must be reported immediately. 

  • Report any suspicious persons or activity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent also required.

  • Previous experience preferred but not required. 6-12 months experience preferred.

  • Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills required.

  • Must be able to keep detailed record of logs and documents.

  • Coordination of mental and physical attention of thought, hand, and eye required.

  • Must be able to lift/move 5-25 lbs. continuously, 40% – 70% of the time.
