Commercial & Contract Management

•    Lead complex price negotiations using market intelligence and cost drivers to achieve favorable commercial outcomes for the business.
•    Negotiate and manage complex long term supply agreements, balancing commercial terms, service and quality performance, responsible sourcing requirements, risk mitigation, and YoY continuous improvement commitments.
•    Proactively manage inflation, price volatility, and market dynamics to protect and improve business financial performance.

Supplier Relationship Management & Excellence

•    Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers, with particular focus on Chemicals and Biologicals suppliers.
•    Drive supplier excellence and accountability through performance monitoring, scorecards, risk escalation, capacity assessments, and coordination of engineering changes.
•    Assess long term supplier capability and capacity to support volume growth and new product introductions.

Risk Management & Supply Assurance

•    Ensure continuity of supply by proactively monitoring supplier health and addressing ongoing or potential supply disruptions, in collaboration with Procurement and ISC stakeholders.
•    Support short term material shortage resolution while maintaining production continuity and service levels.

Operational & Cross Functional Collaboration

•    Foster a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) mindset, driving improvements beyond unit price, including inventory reduction, waste reduction, manufacturing efficiencies, and end-to-end process optimization.
•    Collaborate closely with Planning, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Engineering teams to align sourcing strategies with operational needs.
•    Lead cross functional initiatives to drive improvements in cost, service, and quality. Governance & Compliance
•    Ensure compliance with all procurement systems, processes, tools, and responsible sourcing requirements.
