Marketing Manager

Role Overview

The Marketing Manager will lead strategic and operational marketing initiatives for the BDI  surgery portfolio which includes Hernia, Infection Prevention and Biosurgery. This role is responsible for driving brand positioning, market penetration, and revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies, product launches, and customer engagement programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare marketing, deep understanding of surgical devices, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Job Description

1. Marketing & Branding

  • Define Marketing Objectives and build/execute marketing plans in consultation with Sales & Marketing Head
  • Identify different opportunities of online marketing such as SMS, Email marketing, etc.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business objectives for surgical devices.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning.

2. Product Marketing

  • Manage product lifecycle marketing, including new product launches and portfolio management.
  • Create compelling value propositions and messaging for surgeons, hospitals, and distributors.

3. Market Research

  • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
  • Provide insights to inform pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with sales teams to support demand generation and lead conversion.
  • Partner with clinical specialists for educational programs and KOL engagement.
  • Support BU Heads in building Annual Strategic Plan for the division

5. Campaign Management

  • Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns (digital, events, conferences).
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize for ROI.

Expected to travel extensively to meet customers and understand product and procedure practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Life Sciences (MBA preferred).
  • 6–8 years of marketing experience in healthcare or medical devices.
  • Preference for people with prior experience in interventional ( Surgery) marketing
  • Strong knowledge of surgical devices and hospital procurement processes.
  • Proven track record in product launches and campaign management.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
