About the role
The Territory Representative is responsible for achieving the sales targets for the MDS (Medication Delivery Solutions) business unit in Turkey by generating demand and driving sales along with managing vendors and distributors in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Identify customer needs and the key clinical and administrative decision makers to be able to successfully present BD solutions and products.
- Closely track competitive environment and the recent market trends in the relevant care area and present the most accurate information and convenient solutions to the customer.
- Delivering product/solution presentations, promotions, and trainings while also offering after-sales technical application and clinical trainings to establish standard methodologies.
- Manage the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring alignment with BD principles and local procurement laws.
- Collaborate with internal departments to finalize tenders successfully.
- Follow and manage procurement processes, from demand creation to finalization.
- Track and manage distributor performance to ensure sales targets are met on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Reporting monthly sales forecasts, distributor stock levels, distributor site sales, device and sample usage reports, and weekly visit and activity reports.
- Ensuring SFDC (Salesforce.com) is regularly used for forecasting and reporting of daily activities.
- Working in collaboration with the legal department to ensure compliance and minimize risks to the organization.
- Working in line with the BD Way and what we value; demonstrating examples of our values every day, and everywhere in their work
About you
- 3 years of experience in sales is required, preferably in the medical devices or healthcare industry, with proven experience in handling distributors.
- Strong skills in sales and business development and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance.
- Strong communication skills in English, along with effective negotiation abilities.
