BD is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Procedural Specialist to join our Peripheral Intervention team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to educate and train healthcare professionals on our cutting-edge medical devices, establish strong relationships with customers, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.
The Procedural Specialist promotes BD Peripheral Intervention products to customers and potential customers through clinical support and education within a defined geographic area and as directed by the Regional Manager.
Position covers Minnesota and North Dakota.
Responsibilities
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and staff on technical matters related to BD Peripheral Intervention products through case support, one-on-one in-servicing, and available training programs.
Establish and maintain relationships with customers, hospitals, and physicians, obtaining new users and applications for company products and services.
Observe and report market trends affecting BD Peripheral Intervention sales, service, and product development.
Represent BD Peripheral Intervention in accordance with policies and procedures.
Process customer complaints and returns following established procedures and policies.
Maintain company automobile and property.
Complete and process BD Peripheral Intervention reports, including Procedural Specialist reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, and complaint reports, following established procedures and policies.
Fulfill the duties of a Territory Manager in vacant territories and support endovascular procedures as directed by the Regional Manager.
Education
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Cardiovascular, Radiology, Vascular Surgery, or other equivalent technical discipline is required.
Certifications
Current credentialing and/or certification in respective clinical discipline.
Advanced knowledge of vascular access management, vascular surgery, and endovascular medicine is preferred.
Additional Requirements
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in the Operating Room, Interventional Radiology Lab, or Cardiac Cath Lab.
Strong time management skills with an ability to maintain numerous priorities and meet established deadlines.
Self-motivated, takes on additional responsibilities, and manages priorities with minimal supervision.
Product knowledge and all features and benefits of BD Peripheral Intervention products.
Surgical and endovascular procedure knowledge, adequate to support clinical cases.
Understanding of basic anatomy and medical/surgical terminology.
Frequent travel is required.
Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.
Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.
$106,300 - $190,000- Base + Incentive

For most roles, we require a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations, while also recognizing the importance of flexibility and work-life balance. Remote or field-based positions will have different workplace arrangements which will be indicated in the job posting.
