Job Description Summary
Drive growth for BD Rowa across VIC/TAS by selling automation that transforms retail pharmacy operations.Job Description
At BD, possibility isn’t an idea. It’s what we do. We are the Makers of Possible.
BD Rowa is a global leader in pharmacy automation - and we’re looking for a hunter‑minded Territory Manager to drive growth across Victoria and Tasmania. This is a high‑impact commercial role where you’ll sell capital equipment that modernises dispensing workflows, improves efficiency and elevates the customer experience for retail pharmacies.
Success in this role requires more than traditional sales experience.
You’ll thrive if you’re someone who builds networks, cultivates referral partners, forms strong relationships with banner groups and wholesalers, and knows how to influence pharmacy owners and corporate decision makers.
If you have experience selling into wholesaler networks, banner groups, or come from a fast‑paced commercial environment like real estate, BDM roles, or capital equipment sales - this could be your next big career move.
Your Day-to-Day
You’ll be the face of BD Rowa across VIC and TAS - building relationships, uncovering opportunities and driving product adoption in a competitive, fast‑moving market.
Your day will include:
Driving sales of BD Rowa automation and digital solutions into community pharmacies
Building a strong referral network (banner groups, wholesalers, partners, influencers)
Prospecting and developing new business across VIC/TAS - from cold outreach to strategic B2B engagement
Managing long‑ and short‑cycle opportunities (2 months to 2 years) with discipline and energy
Creating a territory plan and executing consistently
Managing a robust pipeline and delivering accurate forecasting in CRM
Working closely with Sales Leadership and Marketing on campaigns, content and lead generation
Participating in national and local conferences, trade shows and industry events
Creating and maintaining relationships with key associations, partners and ecosystem players
Engaging cross‑functionally with PMO, technical teams and marketing to ensure outstanding customer experience
This is a role where your network, motivation and commercial creativity directly determine your success.
About You
You’re high‑energy, proactive, and love creating opportunity. You’re at your best when you’re meeting people, building relationships and converting conversations into customers.
You’ll bring:
Experience selling into retail/community pharmacy, OR
Experience in real estate, capital equipment, BDM, franchise sales or wholesale for example, but we are open
A “hunter” mindset with proven new business results
Strong networking ability - you understand how to activate influencers, partners and referral channels
Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with business owners and executives
Strategic territory planning and disciplined pipeline management
Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders (owners, wholesalers, banner managers, fit‑out partners, contractors, PMO teams)
High self‑motivation, resilience and commercial awareness
Experience selling automation, digital solutions or capital equipment is highly valued - but what matters most is your drive, confidence and ability to build relationships that convert.
