Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead finance business partner to TDS/CDR, supporting global functional leaders in planning, forecasting, and managing operating and capital budgets
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making and long-term planning
  • Lead the development and delivery of key financial processes, including:
    • Annual Strategic Review (ASR)
    • Annual Budget
    • Forecasts and Projections
    • Capital expenditure planning
  • Drive end-to-end financial planning and analysis for the global function, including tracking and reporting of strategic initiatives, investments, and special projects
  • Develop/support business cases and financial justifications to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives
  • Oversee and enhance financial models and analytical tools to support functional leadership, cost center owners, and regional finance teams
  • Monitor and report key performance metrics, including headcount, vendor spend, and regional financial performance
  • Partner with regional finance teams and COE analysts to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment in financial reporting and planning
  • Support M&A activities, including financial evaluation and tracking of integration/separation related investments
  • Prepare presentations and ad-hoc analysis in support of the TDS/CDR leadership team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Procurement, Legal, Tax) to shape financial considerations, mitigate risk, and optimize outcomes for complex enterprise initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and tools to enhance efficiency and decision support
  • Lead through influence, coaching and mentoring finance analysts and cross-functional partners to build capabilities, elevate financial acumen, and embed best practices across the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, or audit
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience working with large datasets
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with working knowledge of SAP, BPC, or similar financial systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams and foster cross-functional collaboration
  • Highly proactive, self-driven, and focused on continuous improvement
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred
