By aligning and streamlining our work, our Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) business unit aims to drive growth and innovation in everything from integrated sample management to diagnostic solutions. The Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) unit is currently seeking:


The Internal Logistics Specialist responsible for designing, optimizing, and overseeing the flow of materials, products and components within the plant or distribution center, ensuring efficient, safe operations aligned with production and quality objectives.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Design and improve internal logistics flows (receiving, storage, line supply, returns).

- Define and maintain warehouse and production area layouts to optimize space and travel times.

- Implement material handling systems (kanban, tugger trains, AGVs, etc.).

- Coordinate just-in-time (JIT) or sequencing (JIS) supply to production lines. - Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Quality to ensure material availability and traceability.

- Propose and implement improvements in logistics processes using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fulfillment times, route efficiency, inventory levels, etc.

- Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomics standards in logistics activities.

Requirements:

Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in internal logistics, warehouse management, or similar.

Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or other). Proficiency in continuous improvement tools.

Ability to interpret layouts, flowcharts, and work standards. English required.
