Job Description

Funciones y Responsabilidades

1.    Armar celdas de trabajo asignadas, incluyendo moldes, máquinas y equipos auxiliares (termoreguladores, secadores, robots, calentadores de moldes), verificando materiales, realizando cambios de herramienta y mantenimiento preventivo básico.
2.    Diagnosticar y corregir fallas en moldes, máquinas de inyección (Arburg, BOY, Nissei, Engel) y equipos auxiliares (PLC, sistemas de visión), aplicando conocimientos técnicos en resinas termoplásticas y LSR.
3.    Ejecutar mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo en maquinaria y equipos auxiliares, asegurando que la documentación esté actualizada.
4.    Interpretar diagramas eléctricos, neumáticos e hidráulicos para identificar y resolver fallas técnicas.
5.    Monitorear el desempeño de la celda de trabajo, observando el proceso general y la calidad de las piezas moldeadas.
6.    Ajustar parámetros de máquina y controles para mantener la calidad del producto y la eficiencia del ciclo.
7.    Documentar ajustes de proceso en hojas de corrida, asegurando la validez del proceso.
8.    Diseñar y mejorar procesos, herramientas y estaciones de trabajo, considerando aspectos ergonómicos, eficiencia y seguridad.
9.    Coordinar construcción y reparación de moldes, tanto internos como con proveedores externos, asegurando cumplimiento de especificaciones.
10.    Aplicar modelos cuantitativos y metodologías estadísticas para análisis de defectos, planificación de capacidad y resolución de causas raíz.
11.    Liderar iniciativas de mejora continua y ahorro de costos, incluyendo automatización, eliminación de actividades sin valor agregado y reducción de tiempos de ciclo.
12.    Gestionar recursos y desperdicio, optimizando el uso de materiales y equipos.
13.    Capacitar operadores en el uso adecuado de equipos y procesos.
14.    Colaborar con líderes de producción, cuarto de herramientas y operadores líderes para coordinar cambios de modelo y asegurar operaciones eficientes.
15.    Cumplir con políticas de asistencia, desempeño, calidad y seguridad, incluyendo regulaciones locales, estatales, federales y ambientales (RCRA).

Requisitos

Educación y Experiencia

1.    Contar con carrera técnica terminada, preferentemente en Electromecánica, Mecatrónica, Plásticos o áreas afines.
2.    Deseable experiencia mínima de 3 años en procesos de moldeo por inyección de plástico, interpretación de diagramas eléctricos, neumáticos e hidráulicos, y conocimientos generales de mecánica.
3.    Preferentemente contar con experiencia adicional en controles eléctricos, automatización, construcción y reparación de moldes, así como en coordinación con proveedores externos.

Conocimientos y Habilidades

1.    Aplicar habilidades matemáticas intermedias, incluyendo operaciones con números enteros, fracciones y decimales en distintas unidades de medida.
2.    Utilizar herramientas informáticas básicas, preferentemente con dominio de Microsoft Windows y Microsoft Office.
3.    Operar máquinas de moldeo por inyección, realizar cambios de molde y manejo de materiales.
4.    Interpretar diagramas eléctricos, neumáticos e hidráulicos, aplicando conocimientos generales de mecánica.
5.    Usar instrumentos de medición de precisión, como calibradores, indicadores de carátula, altímetros, micrómetros y comparadores.
6.    Manejar maquinaria de taller, como tornos y fresadoras.
7.    Operar grúas y montacargas, preferentemente con experiencia previa.
8.    Aplicar metodologías de manufactura esbelta, como moldeo científico, Kaizen y 5S.
9.    Sustituir al supervisor de turno cuando sea necesario, demostrando liderazgo operativo y conocimiento del proceso.
