Job Description Summary

The Pricing Excellence Manager will work within the regional Strategy & Commercial Capabilities team to support the implementation of pricing strategies, tools, and best practices across BD LATAM. This role emphasizes execution, analysis, coordination, and continuous improvement, working closely with Business Areas, Finance, and TGS.
This role will also include people management responsibilities, leading the regional Pricing Center of Expertise with a team of pricing analysts. The manager will be responsible for coaching team members, overseeing deliverables, prioritizing workloads, supporting professional development, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment

Main responsibilities:

- Support initiatives that improve pricing maturity, process standardization, and financial discipline across commercial operations.

- Coordinate pricing governance routines, including planning cycles, template preparation, data consolidation, and stakeholder alignment.

- Support integration of data, systems, and pricing standards in alignment with BD’s global pricing organization.

- Coordinate the implementation of the regional pricing technology roadmap in partnership with TGS and business leaders.

- Contribute to the adoption of new pricing models, tools, and analytical approaches that enhance value capture and profitability.

- Monitor price performance KPIs, identify risks/opportunities, and support mitigation actions to protect gross margin, providing businesses and countries with pricing analytics that support decision-making

- Partner with business units, marketing, finance, TGS, sales, and legal to support pricing execution in a matrix environment.

- Facilitate communication and alignment between country teams and regional stakeholders.

- Support capability-building initiatives by delivering trainings and sharing best practices.

- Conduct pricing and margin analyses, including price waterfall reviews, discount analysis, and segmentation insights.

- Support continuous improvement projects that enhance pricing tools, approval processes, and reporting.

- Assist in change-management initiatives related to pricing transformation and adoption of new methodologies.

People Management Responsibilities:

- Lead the regional Pricing Center of Expertise with a team of pricing analysts, ensuring clarity of expectations, high-quality deliverables, and strong analytical output.

- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to develop team capabilities.

- Prioritize team workload, allocate resources, and ensure alignment with regional priorities.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Support team development through skill-building initiatives and exposure to regional pricing practices.

Qualifications:

- Strong experience in pricing, finance, commercial excellence, business operations, or related fields.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

- Knowledge of pricing fundamentals (price waterfall, discount governance, value-based pricing, channel pricing) and standard pricing analysis.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.

- Project management capabilities; ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver to timelines.

- Excellent communication skills; able to summarize complex information in a clear and structured manner.

- Comfortable working with global and regional teams, including time-zone flexibility.

- Proficiency in English required; Spanish is a plus.
