The LATAM Strategic Marketing & Omnichannel Sr. Manager is a critical member of LATAM Strategy & Commercial Capabilities Team. The ideal candidate will bring deep market understanding, strategic thinking, and a passion for innovation to help translate customer needs into compelling value propositions. The role will lead an organization of centralized capabilities focused on the execution of omnichannel marketing strategies and works closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and BU Marketing teams (region/countries) to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.Additionally, the manager will identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to address emerging market trends, including crafting cross-business value propositions and offers in collaboration with regional and country commercial teams.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic marketing planning and omnichannel execution across LATAM.
- Translate customer insights and data into actionable marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing with business goals.
- Drive adoption and execution of BD Way of Marketing across the region.
- Identify and develop cross-BU growth opportunities based on market trends and customer needs.
- Build and scale marketing capabilities across countries and business units.
- Develop value propositions and offers that address customer pain points and improve outcomes.
- Develop a strong high performing team of subject matter experts with the right capabilities, focused on enhancing the customer buying journey
- Implement simplified and robust processes and agile ways of working
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that support business growth and customer engagement.
- Conduct market analysis, segmentation, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy.
- Define and communicate differentiated value propositions based on customer needs and clinical outcomes.
- Lead omnichannel marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, content strategy, and customer journey mapping.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with sales, medical, and regulatory priorities.
- Support product launches and commercial readiness across regions.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics and optimize investments to maximize ROI.
- Identify emerging market trends and translate them into actionable opportunities.
- Contribute to strategic planning and long-term brand development.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies in all marketing activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic marketing and omnichannel marketing communication, preferably in healthcare, med tech or pharma.
- Experience working in matrix organizations, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.
- Experience managing subject matter experts representing multiple product lines for large businesses or countries and subject matter experts in different omnichannel marketing execution capabilities
- Omnichannel transformation experience and expertise especially for marketing including digital content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics and measurement
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva) and marketing automation tools.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment and understanding of cultural differences.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across functions and geographies.
- Knowledge of data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI) and customer segmentation models.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in healthcare marketing.
- Advanced in English; additional language skills (e.g. Spanish) are a plus
