About the role

As Moulding Setter you will join our production team where precision and quality are at the heart of everything we do. This role involves setting up and operating moulding machines and related equipment to ensure smooth production and high-quality output. You will also play a key role in supporting process improvements and the introduction of new or modified moulding techniques.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Load and unload mould tools safely using cranes and mechanised lifting equipment
• Configure ancillary equipment to support mould operations
• Investigate processing issues and contribute to reducing waste and downtime
• Assist with trials and validation of new or updated moulding processes
• Maintain accurate documentation of trials, validations, and process conditions in line with internal procedures and GMP
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, product quality, or cost-effectiveness
• Perform basic maintenance on moulds, machines, and ancillary equipment as outlined in maintenance schedules
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent production performance

About you

• Experienced in systematic fault finding and working with hot runner systems, robotics, and multi-cavity tools
• Familiar with moulding processes and confident in handling technical equipment
• Comfortable using IT systems and maintaining clear documentation
• Effective communicator who works well with others across different teams
• Holds City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent practical experience
• Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
