• Function as a key resource person in providing relevant clinical assessments, updates, training programs related to IV infusion therapy, medication management, and hazardous drug solutions safety for BD Medical Segment's MDS internal and external stakeholders.
• Help develop and design strategic education programs in support of business objectives and strategies.
• Conduct clinical assessments, training needs analysis, in-service training and other special training programs in targeted hospitals to achieve product conversion and maintenance.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with key influencers, opinion leaders and professional organizations necessary to achieve BD's positive corporate image and market objectives.
• Develop and maintain the product knowledge competency of associates and distributor teams through periodic clinically relevant product training and refresher training programs.
• Represent the company in conventions and exhibitions.
• Provide strategic and technical inputs to aid short and long-term portfolio and business plans.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Summary
Provide customer technical support through education and training to promote the safe and effective use of BD products. This position will also be responsible for clinical/technical support at the site level (i.e., on-site testing) and for off-site training (both in-person and remote).  
The incumbent will provide customer technical assistance by supporting the needs of customers such as equipment service and repair requests; and troubleshooting equipment problems via telephone or email communication. The incumbent will ensure compliance with all local regulations and BD policies and procedures including but not limited to Quality Assurance and Privacy.

Responsibilities
• Provides technical advice to customers regarding the installation, operation and maintenance of BD Infusion Pump systems
• Conducts routine audits of safety and quality assurance practices at customer sites.
• Ensures appropriate documentation of customer complaints and technical issues encountered during visits.
• Advises customers regarding the selection and application of BD products based upon the specific needs of the hospital
• Collaborates with sales representatives to develop new business opportunities and maintain existing accounts.
• Serves as a technical resource to BD direct sales personnel.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Nursing or Pharmacy disciplines. Master's degree preferred.

•    Valid nursing license holder of good standing
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting required. Experience in a hospital lab or medical device industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required to communicate with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of working hours.
