About the role

As a Junior HR Business Partner for Supply Chain Operations in Temse and Olen, you'll play a crucial role in implementing and driving the HR strategy. Your main responsibilities will include organizational design, talent & skill development, employee relations, and team dynamics. You'll report to the Senior HR Manager for Benelux and work closely with leaders and teams, collaborating with other key partners in the HR team. This position is a 1-year contract with the potential to become permanent.

Main responsibilities will include:

Organizational Design

  • Collaborate with operational managers to optimize our organizational design, ensuring both immediate successes and long-term objectives are achieved. Adapt to evolving needs and capabilities.
  • Keep leveling up our talent attraction and onboarding strategy for operators. Partner with our Agency Inhouse, coordinate job days, hit up job fairs, and more.

Talent Development

  • Dive into succession planning for Operations and make sure talent calibration is on point across departments.
  • Support career growth for operational managers and team leaders.
  • Evaluate and enhance the team leader development program to ensure our leaders continue to excel.

Employee Relations

  • Work closely with the Employee Relations Manager Benelux to provide first-line support for Operations. This includes advising on interpersonal cases, ethics investigations, contract terminations, performance assistance, absenteeism, reintegration conversations, and more.

Team Dynamics, Culture & Change Management

  • Guide managers and team leaders in building high-performing teams.
  • Lead workshops to boost team dynamics and change agility.

HR Analytics

  • Set up and review key People KPIs to support the function.
  • Analyze trends, spot gaps, and discuss action plans.

Other

  • Actively participate in local leadership team meetings.
  • Support employee engagement and branding initiatives.
  • Get involved in people-related projects.

About you

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR Management, Psychology, or equivalent experience.
  • Standout colleague who supports key collaborators and cultivate collaboration.
  • Strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with short-term goals.
  • Eager to learn and adapt quickly. Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.

  • Interested in Operations/Supply Chain.
  • Proficient in Dutch & English.
  • Willing to travel to Olen (once a week) and visit night shifts (once a month).
