Job Description
As a Project Manager for Rowa Installations, you will be working as part of the team installing the BD Rowa systems across UK, Ireland and Northern Europe. Working within the BD MMS Medical dispensing team, you will coordinate our installation engineers, the service commissioning engineers and lead the whole project from aftersales to full installation of our Robotic Dispensing units. Working on multiple projects concurrently.
This role involves regular travel to customer sites across the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe. There is a weekly Project Team meeting in the Winnersh office which will need to be attended. There will also be other ad hoc meetings at the Winnersh office or at our training centers or at offsite locations that require attendance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Product Solutions Manager, stakeholders, projects, and installation teams to deliver projects to agreed project plan deadlines and to the customers’ satisfaction.
- Design and specification of the bespoke Robotics equipment design.
- The main point of contact with the customer through the project phase
- Control and communication of project documentation.
- Timelines, project plans, drawings, kick-off meeting notes, milestones and site meeting notes, CRM
- Accurately maintaining company records and recording customer information
- On-site surveys to document the site and any restrictions.
- Overview and manipulation of technical 3D drawings on CAD.
- Compile the build configuration for the products in the inventory ordering system.
- Take ownership of complex issues, to determine root cause and implement resolution.
- Performing administrative duties including expenses and online training.
- Proactive attitude with customer and department needs.
- Proactive attitude to lessons learned and with own training.
- Achieve individual and team target goals.
- Work away from home when required, to assist project installations, internal & external meetings and to attend training.
Work Environment
You may be required to work in:
- Operational pharmacy environments
- Newly built healthcare facilities
- Sites undergoing renovation or construction activities
The role may require:
- Site safety training
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Taking site measurements
- Conducting inspections that may involve working at height, including the use of ladders when assessing installation requirements
Preferred Requirements
An experience Project Manager in a similar role within the industrial engineering, civil engineering, automation industry or capital projects.
Ability to work on multiply projects, simultaneously.
You will be able to arrange your own diary and priorities your appointments.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate at all levels.
Able to work as part of a team and independently.
Demonstrated experience in project management and project coordination.
Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to prioritise workloads and effectively manage your own schedule.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Experience coordinating on-site teams and managing installation activities.
Comfortable working with technical documentation and project drawings.
CAD experience or the ability to interpret technical drawings is advantageous.
High level of IT literacy and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
Full, clean driving licence.
