Summary:
BD is looking for motivated candidates to join our team as we continue to grow! We are seeking an experienced individual who will be responsible for all aspects of quality control in our Global Service department. The successful candidate will have experience working in service operations and understands the importance of meeting customer specifications and requirements. They must also possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across various departments such as Production, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, and Purchasing. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and functional testing on returned product, make accept / reject decisions, and create quality records by following written procedures.
Accurately document the results of return product inspections and testing
Inspect completed Service History Record (SHR) for accuracy and completeness and perform product final release reviews (as required)
Identify and record documentation quality issues in GDP database used to track, monitor, and report documentation errors and participate in biweekly GDP Error Review Meeting
Support and manage complaint investigations as necessary and review product history records related to customer complaint.
Work with divisional Field Assurance to resolve quality issues with work orders.
Provide support for:
Pre-review of quality document changes i.e., change management.
Qualification testing IQ, OQ, PQ for on-going product transfers (as required)
Corporate, FDA, ISO, and Internal Audits (as required)
ServiceMax User Acceptance Test
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Technical degree or professional certification preferred
At least one year experience performing electro-mechanical inspections in an FDA or ISO regulated environment.
Basic familiarity with FDA QSR and/or ISO 9000/ISO 13485 Quality System Requirements
Basic familiarity with ServicMax and TrackWise
Demonstrated strong attention to detail and “do it right the first time” attitude.
Ability to read and interpret operational procedures and specifications
Basic familiarity with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to utilize a computer to enter data, prepare reports and conduct ERP transactions
