Job Description

Job Summary:

The Product Specialist at Becton Dickinson India Private Limited will be responsible for providing technical and commercial support for a specific product portfolio, ensuring successful market penetration, customer satisfaction, and achievement of sales targets within the assigned territory. This role involves collaborating with sales, marketing, and clinical teams to drive product adoption and optimize performance.

Job Responsibilities:

* Serve as a subject matter expert for the assigned product portfolio, providing in-depth technical information and support to internal teams and external customers.
* Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for healthcare professionals, sales teams, and distributors.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, and industry stakeholders.
* Gather market intelligence, including competitor activities, customer needs, and emerging trends, and provide feedback to product management and marketing teams.
* Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies, product launches, and promotional activities.
* Troubleshoot product-related issues and provide timely resolutions, escalating complex problems to appropriate internal teams.

* Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
* Prepare and submit regular reports on product performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field (e.g., Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Life Sciences).
* Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a product specialist, applications specialist, or sales support role within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
* Proven understanding of the Indian healthcare market and regulatory landscape.
* Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and master complex product information.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Willingness to travel extensively within India as required.
* Fluency in English and Hindi is essential; proficiency in other regional Indian languages is a plus.
