Job Description

Job Summary

The Demand & Regional Supply Chain Planner is responsible for developing and managing demand forecasts, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating supply chain activities within the Taiwan region to ensure product availability and meet customer requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a lean and efficient supply chain operation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned product lines using historical data, market intelligence, and statistical modeling techniques.

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product management teams to gather insights and incorporate promotional activities, new product launches, and market trends into demand plans.

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying potential stock-outs or excess inventory, and propose corrective actions.

  • Plan and execute regional supply chain activities, including order placement, material planning, and logistics coordination, to ensure timely product delivery.

  • Work closely with global and regional supply chain teams to optimize inventory turns, reduce lead times, and improve service levels.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers and third-party logistics providers to ensure adherence to service level agreements and performance targets.

  • Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, presenting demand forecasts and supply plans, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the demand planning and supply chain functions.

  • Generate and analyze supply chain reports and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to management.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or inventory management, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical forecasting methods and demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, IBP).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is highly desirable.

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is required.
