Job Description

Use your ICU or critical care experience to set up infusion pumps, build drug libraries and support safe medication delivery in hospitals.

As an Infusion Specialist, you will work directly with hospital teams to set up, configure and support BD infusion systems, ensuring they are ready for safe clinical use. This includes building and validating drug libraries, supporting implementations and delivering clinical education across hospital environments.
This role is best suited to an ICU or Critical Care nurse who enjoys combining clinical knowledge with hands‑on system setup and education. You’ll work closely with clinicians, pharmacy teams and internal stakeholders to ensure infusion devices are configured correctly and used effectively in practice.
Your Day‑to‑Day
You will combine clinical expertise with hands‑on implementation and education.
You will:
  • Support the setup and configuration of BD infusion systems, including drug library builds and validation
  • Work with clinical teams to ensure devices are ready for safe and effective use
  • Deliver clinical education, training sessions and in‑service support
  • Support product implementations, evaluations and go‑lives across hospital sites
  • Partner with pharmacy and clinical stakeholders on medication safety and infusion practices
  • Provide technical and clinical support to customers post‑implementation
  • Support sales and clinical teams through joint customer engagement
  • Contribute to achieving territory targets through strong clinical support and customer adoption
  • Capture insights on clinical practice, customer feedback and product performance
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and training within CRM systems
This is a highly visible role where your clinical expertise directly impacts patient safety and medication delivery.
About You
You are clinically confident, detail‑driven and comfortable working closely with multidisciplinary hospital teams.
You will bring:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, ideally within ICU, CCU or acute care
  • Strong understanding of infusion practices, medication delivery and patient safety
  • Experience delivering education, training or clinical support
  • High attention to detail, particularly when working with drug protocols and dosing
  • Confidence engaging clinicians, pharmacy and technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across different sites
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
Experience working with infusion devices, smart pumps or drug libraries is highly regarded, but not essential.
