Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Maintaining, sustaining, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance for all facility and grounds.

2. Support Manufacturing Engineers and technicians as needed to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment and processes.

3. Creating, implementing, and sustaining facility projects (i.e., new and modified structures and equipment) whether provided internally or through contractors.

4. Developing and sustaining preventive maintenance for facilities.

5. Manage MRO supplier relationships for facilities.

6. Supervising assigned techs and/or engineers

7. Managing facility service providers.

8. Acts as point of contact for support in all environmental programs at plant and supports corporate EHS (PSM).

9. Responsible for developing and sustaining all facility Juarez procedures.

10. Communicate and maintain favorable rapport with team leaders, engineering, maintenance, and production associates.

11. Provide technical leadership and coaching to engineering, maintenance, and production associates. Train associates as required.

12. Owns 5S of general facility and grounds.

13. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. May require working off shift or weekends.

14. May be on-call for emergencies.

16. Performs a variety of routine and non-routine work as assigned.

17. Works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.

18. Manages pest control.

19. Responsible for all aspects of facility equipment (compressors, chillers, electrical substations, HVAC, Cleanrooms, ECRs, MOCs, etc), buildings, and grounds.

20. Responsible for all aspects of storm water/dust pollution prevention.

• Demonstrated knowledge of FDA and site regulations for design and change control.
• Demonstrated knowledge of PSM environmental policies and law.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient with AutoCad, Solid Works, Minitab, Microsoft Office, and ERP/MRP (JDE/SAP).
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience supporting facilities in a medical device manufacturer (ISO 13485, 12CFR820, NOM-241, ISO14971, ISO14644)

Education and Experience:

Minimum Education:

This position has the following minimum educational requirements:

B.S. Engineering

5 years of facilities experience, minimum or 10 years of related experience.

3 years people leading experience preferred
