The VP, Commercial Enablement reports directly to the VP & GM, US Region, for Medication Management Solutions, and is a key strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing long-term sales enablement strategies rooted in sales effectiveness and customer success to accelerate business growth and customer retention.  Responsible for leveraging data to identify emerging trends and opportunities for growth, while improving process, infrastructure, and capabilities necessary for success. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a high performing team of sales operations, sales training, customer success and business process specialists.
  • Develop the commercial excellence strategy to ensure the commercial teams are equipped with the right insights, tools, processes to drive and achieve revenue targets.
  • Establish and execute the commercial analytics and reporting strategy to ensure operational health, predict future sales revenue based on market and historical data, deliver accurate forecasting (short- and long-term), and inform strategic planning. 
  • Design, build and maintain sales technology solutions (in partnership with IT); oversee the optimization of CRM systems to support sales and contracting efforts.
  • Develop associate learning journey strategy and sales standard work, including sales coaching and training content creation, tools and platforms, and performance tracking.
  • Optimize Business Processes to eliminate “waste” and increase customer facing time.
  • Enhance sales operations data analytics and dashboarding capabilities to monitor performance metrics, identify trends and gaps, and measure the impact of optimization efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness throughout the commercialization lifecycle, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices.
  • Manage key continuous process improvement initiatives across the commercial organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution across departments, including finance, IT, marketing, sales and contracting.
  • Effectively partner with North America Sales Enablement teams across the BD enterprise to ensure synergies and standardization.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred
  • Experience directly leading sales teams
  • Strong experience in creating and executing standard work with change management success
  • Proven track record of commercial execution and growth
  • Strong understanding of healthcare and capital sales process
  • Experience on delivering customer retention strategies
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Experience influencing and connecting multiple decision makers
  • Critical thinking, analytical and implementation skills (ability to translate data into useful tactics and strategies)
  • Ability to manage multiple high-stakes engagements simultaneously, with a focus on long-term client success
  • Willingness to travel 40%+
