Job Overview

BD, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring goals are accomplished and effective communication occurs within the group and across all functions/shifts. You will provide leadership, employee career development, and coaching support to the manufacturing team, while overseeing material flows, manufacturing operations, and supervising various teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues associated with manufacturing operations

• Provide training to associates, including onboarding and new procedures

• Lead continuous improvement recommendations and solutions to support overall operational efficiency

• Lead and support special projects

• Coach associates on day-to-day activities and performance

• Assign and distribute workloads

• Demonstrate the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

• Follow all BD housekeeping and safety policies and procedures

Education

A degree-level qualification or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Work Environment

BD is a smoke-free campus. The use of electronic smoking devices, marijuana, or tobacco products is not allowed on BD property, grounds, or parking areas. False eyelashes, press-on fingernails, and jewelry are not permitted on the production floor, including dermals. Steel-toe and non-slip shoes are required for all associates while on the production floor for safety purposes.
