Job Description
The Senior Product Manager PI Vascular is responsible for driving the long-term growth, profitability, and competitive positioning of a complex product portfolio within Italy.
Beyond executing marketing plans, the Senior Product Manager shapes portfolio strategy, influences regional decision-making.
This role requires strong business acumen, leadership, and strategic thinking, with full ownership of portfolio performance and a clear focus on value creation for customers and the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Business Strategy
• Define and own the mid to long term portfolio strategy, aligning local execution with regional and European priorities
• Lead business planning, forecasting, and profitability analysis, including lifecycle management, pricing strategy, and investment prioritization
• Translate market insights into strategic recommendations that influence regional roadmap and resource allocation
Market & Competitive Leadership
• Act as the go to expert for the assigned therapy area, with deep understanding of market dynamics, clinical pathways, and emerging technologies
• Anticipate competitive moves and proactively define defensive and offensive strategies
• Drive evidence based decisions using advanced quantitative and qualitative market intelligence
Launch Excellence & Growth Acceleration
• Lead end to end launch strategy for new products and indications, from value proposition definition to execution and post launch optimization
• Ensure strong alignment across Marketing, Sales, Clinical Education, and Commercial Excellence to maximize adoption and ROI
Leadership & Cross Functional Influence
• Mentor and coach junior Product Managers, contributing to capability building and best practice sharing
• Drive alignment within a matrix, multicultural organization, influencing without direct authority
Customer-Centric Innovation
• Maintain close engagement with key customers and opinion leaders to identify unmet needs and innovation opportunities
• Maintain relation with key customer to collect insight and bring ideas and proposal to EMEA team
• Represent the voice of the market in regional forums, supporting development and adaptation of solutions
Omnichannel & Commercial Excellence
• Provide strategic oversight on omnichannel programs, ensuring consistency, governance, and high-impact execution
• Optimize campaigns through data driven insights and performance tracking to maximize effectiveness
Experience & Expertise
8+ years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, or Commercial roles within Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical markets
Proven track record of driving growth, managing complex portfolios, and leading strategic initiatives
Strong experience working in matrix and international environments
Business & Financial Acumen
Deep understanding of P&L dynamics, pricing, and return on investment
Confident in making trade‑off decisions to maximize long‑term value
Communication & Personal Attributes
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
High level of autonomy, accountability, and decision ownership
Culturally savvy, resilient, and comfortable with change and ambiguity.
The Annual salary range for this position is: 50.000 -65.000 eur.
