About the role
As a Sales professional at BD, you will play a pivotal role in growing our reach and solidifying our position in the market. Based in Belgium, you will be at the forefront of our efforts, working with an ambitious team to successfully implement strategic sales initiatives.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with collaborators and customers
- Conducting market research to determine customer needs and optimize sales strategies.
- Providing outstanding product knowledge and training to clients
- Collaborating with the marketing team to build persuasive sales materials
- Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics.
- Preparing and presenting detailed sales reports to management
- Attending industry conferences and networking events to stay updated on market trends.
- Ensuring flawless execution of sales plans and strategies
- Achieving and surpassing sales goals and important metrics
- Proven experience in leading, developing and motivating a successful team of sales professionals.
About you
You are a proven sales professional with a passion for making a difference. Your background includes experience in sales, preferably within the medical technology or healthcare sectors. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are driven by ambitious goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience or Science background
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience à I will suggest a wording like “confirmed experience, track record of proven achievements “
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Proficiency in English and Dutch, fantastic if in addition French
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Leading and driving a team of people (for people management positions)
