Our vision for “function or BU” at BD
With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.
About the role
The Product Specialist will be responsible for working closely with the sales team to meet targets in accordance with the annual business plan & marketing objectives.
They must ensure customer satisfaction through quality service delivery & provide technical support to customers on product usage, training, troubleshooting & maintenance of devices & clinical expertise in responsibility by developing relationships with key opinion leaders & other medical professionals.
The candidate must be residing in the Southern region of KSA (Jizan, Asir, Al Bahah or Najran)
Main responsibilities will include:
- Achieve assigned territory sales targets for fiscal year.
- Expand the business by drawing a long-term expectation plan and short-term expectation impact.
- Manages territory accounts to achieve targeted growth and profitability.
- Works collaboratively with distribution partners to ensure effective supply chain management and inventory control.
- Report regularly to the sales manager or sales director on sales activities, competitor activity, new products, and pricing.
- Assists in organizing educational programs (seminars/workshops) in collaboration with Marketing department and distributors.
- Conducts regular territory visits to assess market needs and opportunities.
- Resolve any issues relating to order processing and customer complaints promptly.
- Maintains accurate records of territory activities including call reports and expenses.
- Maintains knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends.
- Represent BD at conferences and trade shows as required.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams such as R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance etc.
- Assists in preparation of promotional materials, presentations, and training sessions.
- Ensure appropriate follow-up with all customers.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in pharmacy, nursing or other healthcare related field.
- Previous sales experience at least 2-3 years in capital equipment and consumables is preferred.
- Self-starter who can work independently but also enjoys being part of a dynamic team.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the region frequently.
