Associate Territory Manager (Medical Delivery Solutions/Sales/IDN's)- Pacific Northwest

Job Overview

BD is seeking a motivated and driven Associate Territory Manager to join our Medical Delivery Solutions team in the Pacific Northwest region. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our sales team, gain exposure to the sales process, and learn about our innovative vascular access products. You will play a crucial role in protecting and growing our portfolio, with a focus on Safety IV Catheters, Accucath, and PowerGlide product categories.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales Team in the field through field rides, participate in sales calls, and enhance sales skills.

  • Attend sales training to learn about BD's vascular products and effectively support Sales Consultants.

  • Provide customers with product information and training.

  • Inform customers about pricing, backorders, and company policies.

  • Conduct comprehensive in-service training on peripheral access products.

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Consultant and Regional Business Manager on planning, prioritization, and time management.

  • Develop a thorough knowledge of all peripheral access products.

  • Communicate daily with the Territory Manager and District Manager within the assigned geography.

  • Inform the Sales Consultant and Regional Business Manager of significant changes in customer accounts.

  • Report customer complaints in accordance with Vascular Access Device (VAD) complaint procedures.

  • Complete all administrative duties associated with the position in a timely manner.

  • Cultivate new and existing customer relationships to establish long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

  • Work a flexible schedule and travel to meet the needs of VAD customers.

Requirements

  • One to four years of outside sales experience or equivalency.

  • Ability to travel up to 40%.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Willingness to relocate for available Territory Manager positions.

  • Persuasive and influential skills.

  • Good judgment and professional behavior.

  • Basic knowledge of anatomy, medical, and vascular terminology.

  • Excellent listening and communication abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively build and sustain professional relationships with hospital personnel, other sales teams, and home office staff.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.

Education

A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.

Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles. 

$68,000 - $120,000 - Base + Incentive
