Job Description Summary
As part of the GBS Quote to Cash (QTC) organization, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining high-quality master data supporting the end-to-end QTC process. Aligned with EMEA ambitions and guidelines, this role ensures the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of customer master data across BD’s infrastructure, enabling effective management of sales, order processing, billing, and revenue recognition.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Master Data Management for QTC
Manage and control customer master data including pricing, contracts, and billing conditions
Ensure consistency of master data across CRM, ERP, CPQ, and billing platforms
Monitor and resolve data inconsistencies affecting quotations, order processing, invoicing, and collections in collaboration with the CMDO team
Data Governance and Quality
Apply QTC-specific data standards, naming conventions, and validation rules
Collaborate with Commercial, CMDO, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance
Conduct regular audits and data cleansing activities to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy
Process Enablement
Identify data-related bottlenecks in the QTC process and recommend improvements
Support implementation and upgrades of systems at both local and regional levels, ensuring master data requirements are met
Contribute to automation and workflow improvements dependent on clean, structured data
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as national liaison with regional QTC teams, commercial teams, and technical stakeholders to address master data issues
Train and support end-users on data entry standards and QTC data governance policies
Lead cross-functional data management meetings focused on QTC data domains
About You
Education
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
Experience
3–5 years of experience in data stewardship or Quote to Cash operations, preferably in a global or corporate environment
Knowledge and Skills
Strong understanding of the Quote to Cash process and related data dependencies
Experience with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), CPQ tools, order management, and billing systems
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with data governance frameworks
Familiarity with SOX compliance and revenue recognition standards
Certifications in data management or relevant platforms (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, SAP Master Data)
Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
Compensation range for the role: 40 000 to 50.000 €
