Responsibilities:

• Oversee laboratory staff in testing performance according to client requirements, while supervising, coaching, and developing junior/temporary operations staff to foster technical growth, accountability, and alignment with company standards.

• Ensure all testing services comply with client specifications, company SOPs, and regulatory requirements, while also supporting laboratory accreditation activities including FDA registration, DEA licensing, and ISO registration.

• Author and review test protocols, results, and reports while editing, authoring, and maintaining SOPs, IQ/OQ/PQ documents, change controls, and other technical documentation to support laboratory projects.

• Manage laboratory testing schedules to maximize efficiency and productivity, while overseeing laboratory equipment including calibrations, performance verification, and qualification activities to ensure optimal operation.

• Serve as project manager for key client programs, act as primary point of contact for assigned clients, collaborate on technical solutions, and translate evolving client needs into actionable plans for the laboratory team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of leadership experience in laboratory operations, testing services, or related technical environments is required for this position.

• Strong technical writing abilities are essential, including the capability to author test protocols, reports, and standard laboratory procedures with clear communication skills.

• Working knowledge of commonly prescribed methods (USP, ISO, ASTM procedures) and experience with quality systems, laboratory accreditation, and regulatory compliance (FDA, DEA, ISO) are necessary qualifications.

• The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and multitasking skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the company's mission are valued attributes for this laboratory leadership role.
