Job Description Summary
Lead the implementation and coordination of the Integrated Business Planning process (IBP) for the Peripheral Intervention Business Unit (BU). Partner with the Executive Process Champions and Process leaders from across the five IBP Steps (Portfolio Management Review, Demand Review, Supply Review, Integrated Reconciliation, and the Management Business Review) to ensure the reviews are effective and that materials are on time and satisfactory to provide an updated outlook and make the necessary decisions. Provide holistic and unbiased counsel to the President across the end-to-end business value chain.The BU Integrated Business Planning Process Leader monitors the quality of the output of the IBP various meetings, leads the Integrated Reconciliation Review, facilitates the Management Business Review, and ensures that issues and imbalances which are identified during the monthly IBP cycle are cross functionally reviewed, resolved, or escalated with recommendations and alternatives for closure.
The Integrated Business Planning Process Leader is directly responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the BU’s Integrated Business Planning process and for its continuous improvement (tools and process).

Duties and Responsibilities:
The major areas of responsibility are as follows:
Lead the implementation of IBP in the BU (both globally and where relevant also in the regions).
Help drive organizational adoption and acceptance of the IBP process.
Orchestrate the ongoing IBP process across all steps.
Lead the monthly IR and facilitate the monthly MBR.
Partner with Finance to ensure clarity of financials to support decision making.
Support annual assessment and ongoing IBP process improvement.
Detailed Responsibilities
Help create the vision for IBP within the BU and ensure BDx process alignment and harmonization across all BU’s in coordination with the Global IBP Process Leader.
Manage the implementation project, ensuring appropriate scope, schedules, and resources are aligned to deliver project goals.
Lead the implementation team made up of Process Leaders to establish IBP processes and guidelines and ensure that processes and correct behaviors are followed.
Work with management Steering Team to identify, intensify, and resolve project barriers, risks, or issues.
Ensure the IBP hierarchy supports the integration of product, demand, supply and resulting financial plans.
Manage and implement the change management plan to ensure adoption & evolution of IBP.
Lead continuous education processes after implementation to ensure broad organizational support and alignment towards IBP.
Ensure the schedule of meetings for the next 12 months is published and that all process meetings take place as scheduled.
Maintain the IBP policy and procedure documentation.
Identify, develop and implement process improvement plans to optimize IBP processes to meet company objectives for quality, cost, responsiveness and growth.
Proactively coach Process Leaders and Executive Champions in the IBP process.
Form and lead cross-functional teams as required to ensure issues and imbalances which occur during the monthly IBP cycle are cross functionally reviewed, resolved or intensified with recommendations and alternatives for closure.
Participate in the monthly Financial Appraisal.
Facilitate Integrated Reconciliation (IR) step, including the recommendation or development of scenarios that re-optimize the business and develop gap-closing solutions.
Facilitate the Management Business Review (MBR) meeting, including agenda preparation, executive briefing, consolidation, and distribution of MBR deck, and the issuing of meeting minutes and action items.
Prepare and publish the MBR deck 24 hours in advance of the meeting and publish results of the MBR within 24 hours after of the meeting.
Provide Leadership Team members with information that supports decision making so that decisions align the company’s product/portfolio, demand, supply, and finance requirements and help the company deliver strategic objectives.
Engage and stay aligned with Product Management, Finance, and Supply to maintain continuous integrated resolution of issues as they arise, as well as threats and opportunities to the plan.
Monitor process KPI’s to ensure the business and the process is delivering stated objectives. Ensure corrective action measures are identified and implemented.
Provide analytical support as necessary to improve the quality and timeliness of Integrated Business Planning data reporting (Product/Portfolio, Demand, Supply, Finance, and contingency plans.)
Ensure review critiques continuously improve the IBP process.
Review with process leaders any weaknesses in their processes and support them in developing and implementing improvement plans.
Lead a self-assessment of the process annually, and schedule / coordinate outside assessment(s) as appropriate.
This role has the following critical interfaces:
Business Management
Represent Marketing, Finance, and Staff operations functions
Serve as an equal member of the Management Team in making recommendations and decisions to optimize business rather than functional or team results.
Present recommendations from the IR regarding necessary decisions.
Develop the IBP process strategy that optimizes customer service and operating costs for the business.
Operating Management
Ensure all IBP plans and forecasts are valid, meaning realistic and achievable.
Communicate often and accurately with team managers and IBP process leaders concerning both short-term and long-term business projections.
Finance/Accounting
Ensure full demand integration with Finance.
Report when projections fall short of commitments and recommend gap-closing activities.
Ensure all functions and teams are operating from the same set of numbers and are focused on meeting the budget, revenue and margin targets, and strategic objectives.
Product, Supply, and Demand Management
Ensure effective communication and coordination to ensure all IBP commitments are being met.
Communicate frequently with the process owners and leaders as needed to sustain best practice performance in IBP.

Broad functional experience or knowledge of the key processes of Product Management, Demand and/or Supply Management highly recommended.
Fundamental knowledge of finance and accounting records.
Experience implementing new business processes and driving organization change.
Advanced knowledge of IBP systems and processes a plus.
Demonstrated performance in living the values of the company.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering and/or Operations.
Masters or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 3 years related experience including demand planning, supply planning, BP or S&OP.
Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, QlikView, etc.)
