Main responsibilities will include:

• Plan and execute medium to large-scale events across Europe, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers (hotels, venues, AV, catering) to manage all aspects of event logistics
• Lead on-site coordination and provide support during events, including shipping requests and venue setup (may involve light manual handling)
• Guide and support junior event colleagues when necessary, ensuring knowledge-sharing and consistency
• Oversee vendor relationships, including negotiation of contracts, rates, and terms
• Manage online events and webinars, working closely with omnichannel teams to align social media content
• Ensure compliance with internal finance and regulatory processes for all events
• Prepare reports and documentation as required by the Marketing Services Manager

About you:

• Proven experience in event planning or project management within a multinational or regional context. Life sciences experience is considered an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Confident computer usage, in particular Microsoft Office tools
• Confident communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments and enjoys working with diverse teams
• Experience in managing external suppliers and negotiating contracts
• Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently within Europe, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Familiarity with online event platforms and social media campaign coordination is advantageous
