About the role

As HR Business Partner Medical Essentials Europeyou will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the European VP/GM Specimen Management (SM) and the European VP/GM Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) and their respective Leadership Teams, driving the alignment of people and business strategies across the European region. You will be accountable for shaping and executing an integrated people and talent strategy that advances regional and business priorities.

This role provides end-to-end strategic HR leadership, partnering with senior leaders to develop and implement business plans, strengthen organizational efficiency, and lead workforce and talent planning. IIt plays a meaningful role in developing fit-for-purpose organizations, enabling transformation, and building high-performing, resilient teams across the region.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Align HR initiatives with the company’s overarching objectives by ensuring that all HR strategies are oriented towards supporting growth and operational efficiency. Works closely with regional and country business leaders to understand the challenges and opportunities within the organization, providing advice that drives the development of high-performing teams and robust organizational structures.
  • Organizational Development: Lead organizational development and transformation efforts to identify, design and implement appropriate organizational structures across countries.
  • Change Management: Lead and support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations. This includes developing change management strategies, communicating effectively with countries, regional and global partners, and providing support to employees to help them adapt to the change.
  • Talent Management: In partnership with Talent Management COEs, oversee talent development, and retention strategies to build high-performing teams. Ensure strong Succession Plans are in place.
  • Capability Building: Acts as a strategic capability builder to the regional VP/GMs to identify, develop, and align the capabilities to future country competitiveness. Perform capability and skill gap analysis, upskilling, and performance management activities accordingly.
  • Associate Engagement: In partnership with Access HR and country HR BPs, supervise employee relations and maintain a productive work environment that encourages associate engagement. Cultivate a culture of open communication, recognition, and support to address employee concerns promptly. Implement programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing morale and ensuring employees feel valued and aligned with the organization's objectives.
  • Compliance: Partner with Access HR and country HR to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations while driving organizational development initiatives in the region.
  • HR Metrics: Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.

About you

You bring a proven track record of driving organizational transformation and leading impactful HR initiatives in complex, regional environments. With strong business insight, you influence, challenge, and collaborate with senior executives at the leadership level. You translate HR data and insights into strategic actions that enable business performance and growth.

Your experience and capabilities include:

  • 10–15+ years of senior HR leadership experience, ideally in healthcare or a regulated industry
  • Strong knowledge of European labor laws and HR best practices
  • Proven experience in organizational development, change management, and cultural transformation
  • Ability to lead across cross-functional, multicultural teams
  • Coaching mindset with a focus on talent development and succession planning
  • Strong strategic capability, translating HR metrics into actionable business insights

The salary or hourly rate offered is determined by the role's specific requirements, including any applicable step rate pay system at the work location. Salary or hourly pay ranges are influenced by labor laws and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements applicable to the work location which may also affect the workplace arrangement of the role.
