Finance has launched NextGen Finance program to drive BD Excellence across the function leveraging 4 core pillars – E2E Focus, Excellence Foundation, Simplified Interactions, and Digital First Mindset. The NextGen Finance North America Transformation Lead is responsible for

• Coach and provide project resources team guidance on day to day roles and delivery. May manage small team of up to 5 associates
• Lead business communication and engagement for workstream, including identification and management of key stakeholders
• Develop the strategic roadmap and gain business alignment including integration to other strategic initiatives
• Ensure integrated end to end roadmap across people, process, technology dimensions with clear and robust deployment plans
• Develop and implement sustainable run state and service infrastructure
• Lead and establish ways of working with cross-functional capability owners to resource and enable the workstream

This role reports into NextGen Finance Solutions and Design Integration Lead. This is a fixed term project role through October 1, 2027

Finance has launched NextGen Finance program to drive BD Excellence across the function leveraging 4 core pillars – E2E Focus, Excellence Foundation, Simplified Interactions, and Digital First Mindset.  

Responsibilities:

  • Develop implementation strategy and plans for transformation projects in  scope.
  • Oversee project resources/central team across OCM, design integration, vendors/partners and process areas to orchestrate program delivery.  Key responsibilities include leading teams, governance, value realization tracking, and stakeholder management. Coach and provide program core team guidance on day-to-day roles and delivery.
  • Own and develop workstream resourcing strategy, financial planning, and execution.  Ensure resourcing in place
  • Represent workstream and GBSF at governance forums.  Drive adherence to program governance model and own stagegate preparation for GSF.
  • Lead the GBSF global cross-functional workstream team(s) and partner across global and regional service delivery, transformation programs, and enablers on design and execution
  • Responsible for overall project effectiveness assessments, including KPI, VOC, and embed continuous improvement into program review and structure.
  • Ensure value creation levers are defined to execution level with clear accountability and tracked.   If shortfalls arise in value creation, creatively work across the deployment organization to identify new opportunities
  • Enable base operations delivery through proactive planning, workstream resourcing approach, and integration of program/workstream design
  • Partners with GBS Excellence to determine operationalize playbook and establish run state support model
  • Develop and implement sustainable run state and service infrastructure
  • Manage integration with BDX across playbooks, timelines, deployment plans. Identify interdependencies and drive strategic alignment
  • Develop regional strategic roadmap and gain business alignment including integration to other strategic initiatives outside of the program
  • Ensure integrated end to end roadmap across people, process, technology dimensions with clear and robust deployment plans
  • Develop strategic messaging and interface with key Finance and GBS stakeholders for transformation/transitions in North America (BU, controllership, risk & compliance  etc)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in GBS or finance function with 3+  years in leadership role in large global scale finance or GBS  transformation programs
  • Ability to influence people at all levels locally, regionally, and globally
  • A global, customer-first mindset with strong business acumen.
  • A collaborative, can-do mentality, with the ability to drive change management initiatives.
  • Effective communication and strong presentation skills; can speak across various forums and communicate to broad, diverse audience.
  • Experience managing new scope assessment and opportunities in a GBS context
  • Budget management and understanding of complex organizational factors required.  Demonstrated ability to create a value case and manage value realization
  • Mastery and a proven track record of leading change initiatives and execution of global projects and solutioning.  Change management experience is required.
  • The ability to build interdependent partnerships, acting as the mediator between organizations while optimizing the value proposition is required.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker, and highly developed problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to shape, creating a future vision and gaining support and alignment to that vision is required

Salary range for the role is $200-225K base rate.
