About us

BD in South Asia, with 1500+ associates, has its offices in India and Bangladesh, while also operating through distributor network in Sri Lanka, Maldives and Nepal.

India operations started in 1995 through a wholly-owned subsidiary, BD India Pvt. Ltd. with its headquarters in Gurugram, Haryana. Our regional offices are in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata along with state-of-art manufacturing plant in Bawal, Haryana. We also have two campuses in Chandigarh and Bengaluru for Software technology and R&D respectively. We provide customer solutions that are focused on improving medication management and patient safety; supporting infection prevention practices; equipping surgical and interventional procedures; improving drug delivery; aiding anesthesiology care; enhancing the diagnosis of infectious diseases and cancers; advancing cellular research and applications; and supporting the management of diabetes.

Known to solve public health problems across time and countries, BD in India has deployed its innovation, integrated solutions and technologies, knowledge and expertise towards supporting the healthcare continuum, enhancing the clinical practices and impacting quality patient outcomes.

BD - Gurugram

India commercial operations headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana includes a team size of nearly 600+ associates. The team is engaged in sale of a broad range of medical supplies, devices, laboratory equipment and diagnostic products used by healthcare institutions, physicians, life science researchers, clinical laboratories, the pharmaceutical industry and the general public. BD in India touches 75% of the urban population through its access to ~500 towns and is persistently building off its tradition of global innovation and excellence to better healthcare in the country.

BD - Bawal

BD has a state-of-the-art, highly automated manufacturing facility in Bawal, Haryana. With over 70 production lines, this facility started its commercial production in 1997 in India with the manufacturing of insulin syringes, later adding injection devices and IV catheters. With a capacity to churn out over a billion medical devices of disposable needles and syringes every year, Bawal uses manufacturing techniques of international standards and supplies products to over 50 countries across the world.

BD Software Technology Solutions Center - Chandigarh

BD in Chandigarh started its operations in March 2006 as CareFusion Development Private Limited. It is a part of Software Technology Solutions arm of global R&D and comprises of a team of technical experts focused on delivering optimal Enterprise Software Solutions. The team of Software Developers, Quality Assurance Engineers, Technical Documentation Experts, User Experience Designers, Software Quality Engineers, Project Managers, DevOps and Requirements Engineers are working to become the preferred Enterprise Software Solutions partner for BD Businesses across the globe.

BD Technology Campus - Bengaluru

BD Technology Campus in Bangalore was set up in June 2019 as an integral part of the global R&D network to deliver on its growth and innovation goals towards product development and product engineering for worldwide markets. The multiple product lines across BD provide a significant learning and professional growth opportunity to the associates by managing design, development and delivery of critical R&D solutions In doing so, this center aims to become one of the most efficient and innovative R&D centers for BD globally.

BD in Bangladesh operations started in August 2015. Located in Dhaka, the team comprises of associates supporting Medical, Life Sciences and Interventional segments. With an active membership in industry chapters such as AMCHAM Bangladesh, the team is working towards advancing the BD purpose.
