Job Summary
The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling the Davol Medical Products line of products to surgeons and hospitals in assigned territory. The representative must have strong knowledge of our product lines as well as competitor’s product offerings. They should also possess superior communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical information to both clinical and non-clinical audiences. This position reports directly to the Regional Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales growth within their territory by providing excellent customer service and education on Davol Medical Products and its products

  • Conduct frequent field visits to assess current accounts and prospect new ones.

  • Provide technical advice regarding Davol Medical Products and procedures.

  • Educational seminars or workshops may be conducted to enhance customers' understanding of Davol Medical Products and its applications.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, market trends, and product usage.

  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve any issues related to orders, shipments, or customer concerns.

  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL) and thought leaders in the medical community to promote the use of Davol Medical Products.

  • Attend conferences and trade shows to showcase Davol Medical Products and network with potential clients.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards while engaging in sales activities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • At least five years of experience in sales or marketing in the medical device industry, preferably in orthopaedics.

  • Knowledgeable about the principles of human anatomy and surgical techniques relating to orthopaedic procedures.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with customers and attend conferences.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Proficiency in computer software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
