Position Summary/Resumen de la posición:

Produce quality tubing for the Cannula department by operating equipment. Various tasks that will be assigned rotationally are Welding, Blocks, Sinks, Auto-Cut (MJR and IECO), and other tasks as necessary. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English and/or Spanish. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.

Producir tubos de calidad para el departamento de cánula mediante la operación de equipos. Varias tareas que se asignarán rotativamente son soldadura, bloques, fregaderos, corte automático (MJR e IECO) y otras tareas según sea necesario. Garantiza el cumplimiento de los sistemas, políticas, procedimientos y mejores prácticas de calidad de BD, y todas las regulaciones, políticas y procedimientos de seguridad locales, estatales, federales y de BD. La asistencia regular y puntual es una función esencial del trabajo. Capacidad para leer y escribir y conversar en inglés o español. Dispuesto y capaz de defender los valores de BD.

Duties/Responsibilities/Deberes/Responsabilidades:

· Responsible for meeting established production standards.

· Responsible for meeting the quality requirements of the product and operating within the policies and procedures of the Quality System.

· Use microscopes, pin gages and other inspection devices as necessary.

· Perform basic maintenance as required to keep machines in good operational order

· Use basic hand tools (allen wrenches, files, side cutters, crescent wrenches, etc.)

· Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

· Responsable de cumplir con los requisitos de calidad del producto y operar dentro de las políticas y procedimientos del Sistema de Calidad.

· Utilice microscopios, medidores de alfileres y otros dispositivos de inspección según sea necesario.

· Realizar el mantenimiento básico según sea necesario para mantener las máquinas en buen estado operativo

· Utilice herramientas manuales básicas (llaves Allen, limas, cortadoras laterales, llaves de media luna, etc.)

· Otras tareas según sea necesario para apoyar las necesidades del negocio

Education/Educación:

· High School diploma/GED preferred

· In lieu of High School diploma/GED, three years manufacturing experience is required

· Diploma de escuela secundaria / GED preferido

Experience/Experiencia:

· Mechanical aptitude required

· Previous mechanical experience preferred
