Job Description
Summary:
The Senior Product Specialist for Quoting Technology will act as aglobalfunctional / technicalleader and subject matter expert for digital solutions that enable global quoting processes. This role blends deep functional knowledgeofquoting, contracting,pricingand rebate management within a Medical Device organization, alongwith technicalexpertiseinenabling platforms such as Oracle CPQ, CongaCLMandSalesForce. Additionally, this rolewillprovide thought leadership and drive the use ofdigital(ex.GenAI,AgenticAI, Automation)capabilities to deliver innovative solutions thatoptimizecommercial operations for both field sales and contracting / pricing teams.
The incumbentwill lead productstrategies, roadmap execution,collaborate with development engineers / architects and strategic partners in theagile deliveryof Quoting products. The incumbent should therefore have experience working in aSAFeAgileframework, technicalexpertisein core platforms noted, and experience in building data,AIand automationproductsleveragingDataBricks,powerBI,mulesoftand emerging GenAI /AgenticAIsolutions.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic understanding, both business and technology experience, exceptional relationship buildingskillswith diverse global teams and cultures,and solution-oriented mindset.In addition, this person should alsopossessan analytical mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes, listening,creativity,andnegotiationsskills across all organizationlevels. Havingexcellent judgment and decision-makingskills and willingness toaccept ownership and accountabilityis key.
Responsibilities:
Theobjectiveof this role is to actively partner with all relevantstakeholdersin TGS, the globalquoting andpricing team, business unitsand regional users and external vendors todeliver our global quoting roadmaps and advance ourbusinessobjectives.Primary responsibilities will include:
Product Ownership & Strategy:Will define andmaintainthe product vision, roadmap, and backlog for quoting platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise architecture.
Technical Expertise:Will display strong work experience inleading anddelivering globalplatform solutions for Quoting (Oracle CPQ), Contracting (Conga CLM),Pricing Setting / Monitoringand Salesforce.
Data Management:Will deploycorresponding solutions for Data Management (Reltio,DataBricks,pBI) and driving seamless data flow and integrationwithQuoting and Pricing.
Digital & AI Enablement:WillIdentify and implement opportunities to integrate AI-driven insights, automation, and advanced analytics intoquoting processes.
Agile Leadership:Servesas a product leader withinSAFeAgile teams, providing clear priorities, business context, and servant leadership to enable high-performing delivery squads.
Solution Design & Delivery:WillCollaborate with technical architects and business stakeholders to design scalable, integrated solutions thatoptimizecommercial operations.Experience indevelopment / engineering,architecture / design, and cross-product integrationisessential.
Value Realization:Will establish KPIs and measureQuoting and Pricingproducts and Digital Solutionsimpact onbusinessobjectives(e.g.revenue growth,margin expansion, efficiency).
Team Leadership:Will effectivelylead global teams, motivate and hire exceptional talent.Strong senseof personal accountability and ownership, with proven ability to create followership and build high-performing teams.
Communication & Influencing:Willcommunicate complex business challenges in a simplified manner; conversely, ability to communicate complex technology concepts into business language. Must be collaborativewithstrongwritten and oral communications
Stakeholder Engagement:Will act as a trusted advisor to global pricing, sales, marketing, and technology teams, influencing strategic decisions and driving adoption of new capabilities.
Continuous Improvement:WillIdentify anddriveinnovation and process optimization through digital transformation initiatives(e.g.automationopportunities toimprove processes).
MinimumRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in product management or technology leadership roles within commercial operations.
Proven experience with pricing, quoting, or contracting platforms (e.g., Oracle CPQ, Conga CLM).
StrongexpertiseinSAFeAgilemethodologyand leading cross-functional product teams.
Familiarity with AI/ML applications, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making.
Experience influencing strategic technology roadmaps and delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
Advanced degree
Experience in product management or technology leadership roles within commercial operations for medical device or regulated industries
Strong product management and agile leadership capabilities.
Ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
Experiencein stakeholder management skills.
Deep understanding of digital technologies, AI, and integration strategies.
