About the role

The Field Service Engineer will work as part of the technical team, providing support on assigned instruments and systems to customers and distributors across the Central and Northern regions. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficiently resolving reported incidents and service requests.

Location: Riyadh

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide independent, on-site technical support in line with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including installations, relocations, certifications (IQ/OQ), and repair activities.

  • Deliver advanced remote support, diagnostics, and fixing for technical issues raised beyond the help desk.

  • Support and lead distributors by building strong partnerships, mentoring, and leading distributor service teams to ensure service excellence.

  • Plan, prioritize, and complete corrective and preventive maintenance activities, including upgrades, in compliance with regulatory requirements and defined procedures to ensure uninterrupted customer operations.

  • Clearly explain service contract offerings to customers, including coverage, terms and conditions, benefits, and pricing.

  • Conduct pre-installation site assessments and advise customers to ensure all requirements are met for the successful installation of BD devices and equipment.

  • Ensure full compliance with quality, ISO, GMP, and safety standards, adhering to BD policies and customer SLAs to consistently deliver high-quality service.

About you

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience servicing IVD laboratory diagnostics equipment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and partners.

  • A collaborative great teammate who thrives in multi-functional environments and can lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
