Business Process Support Associate- MMS Parata Specialty

Broad Scope & Purpose:

The Business Process Support Associate executes business process activities across the areas in collaboration with, and support of sales team. Key teams that this role will interact with include master data, supply chain, marketing, customer support, sales, and production. Additional support processes include, but are not limited to, SalesForce.com administration, daily allocations, data analytics, and monitoring customer performance indicators.

This role interacts with internal teams as well as potentially engaging with customers directly to ensure ease of doing business within MMS (Medical Management Solutions) Parata Specialty. This role is a key support role for the sales organization, supporting many administrative tasks needed to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage as the primary point of contact for our internal customers, collaborating across multiple teams to identify problem solving opportunities to enable our customers a simpler and more streamlined experience with MMS: clarify business related issues, resolutions, and support needs.
  • Providing troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems.
  • Providing data and guides to help the sales team.
  • Manage sales tracking tools and report on key customer metrics.
  • Liaise with account executives to develop customer strategies on RECODE and substation SKUs.
  • Review pending orders and specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience.
  • Provide sales support with contracting and administrative tasks associated with amendments, renewals, etc.
  • Support and Training on key tools (dashboards, Salesforce).
  • Suggest sales process improvements.

Experience and Education:

  • BA/BS required (in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, extensive (5+ years) experience in the applicable area.
  • Minimum 1 year of Commercial Operations, Sales experience, or other relevant teams, supporting sales is required.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft applications. This role must analyze each situation, determine root causes, and best paths to resolution.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities; established ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate across functional areas and various levels of management.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with ambiguity, problem solving and influencing without authority.
  • Individual contributors, responsible for managing their workload, supporting their internal teams, stakeholders, and customers to completion.
  • A proven record of strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Collaboration with numerous internal teams to track progress against sales support items.

Demonstrated customer-centric focus Area partner, supporting the sales organization by partnering with different internal teams, to facilitate customer-related needs and assistance.

Improved Customer Experience Overall

  • Work to build SKU-level full cross files for substituted materials.
  • Work directly with Account Executives on distributor’s orders.

Improved KEY IDN Experience by proactively working with customers

  • Review stock levels to help avoid backorders.
  • Joining weekly calls for IDN’s and key sites to help review concerns.

Drive Revenue Gains

  • Analyze customer buying trends, understand RECODE analytics, and provide immediate responses to customers

Forecast Improvement

  • Collaborate with other BDX BU’s to develop backorder polices and processes.
  • Work to identify trends in growth by product category during different times of the year.
