Proporcionar servicio de tipo administrativo y transaccional en nuestros sistemas actuales para el área de servicio técnico a través de actividades que permitan cumplir con el propósito del área de servicio técnico aplicado a los equipos y/o instrumentos de los negocios de IDS y BDB.

Job Summary:
Responsible for performing all technical support tasks for field service activities, including troubleshooting equipment problems on-site, providing training to customers, and assisting in product installations. This position also involves maintaining accurate records of customer complaints and conducting repairs or replacing parts as needed.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical assistance to field service personnel, including troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of products.
2. Assist in the development of new services and processes.
3. Conduct regular inspections of field service operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
4. Maintain accurate records of customer complaints and feedback.
5. Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues related to product performance or customer satisfaction.
6. Develop effective communication strategies to address customer concerns and provide timely updates on progress made towards resolving them.
7. Participate in cross-functional teams focused on improving overall efficiency and effectiveness of field service operations.
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement and cost reduction.
9. Contribute to the design and implementation of new technologies aimed at enhancing field service capabilities.
10. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to field service operations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar role
Strong knowledge of electronics hardware and software systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluency in Spanish and English languages
