Purpose:

The Senior Executive, Supply Chain Project and Process Excellence, Order Management is responsible for overseeing supply chain projects, ensuring process excellence, and managing customer order operations.

This includes managing operations to

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Identify bottlenecks and enhance workflows to improve operational performance.

  • Work with cross functional teams to align supply chain activities with business goals Support all continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Supporting order management process involves ensuring smooth order placement, processing, fulfillment, and post-sales service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze processes and identify improvement potentials in processes to drive operational efficiencies.

  • Persistently assess and adapt relevant processes and local organizational structures to increase customer satisfaction. This includes optimization, automation, and centralization initiatives.

  • Participate in projects and other initiatives to standardize policies, procedures and processes across programs and operational units.

  • Support team lead and regional lead in managing the Order Management operations, namely customer master data management, order processing, pricing validation, backorder management, OTIF, discrepancy management and service/contract billings, with additional processes to be included as required.

  • Maintain good working relationships with distributors/end customers, internal stakeholders and other SSC functions.

    • Conduct Customer/Distributor Surveys

    • Conduct regular meetings with Key Stakeholders eg Countries, Business to update on performance and obtain feedback

    • Escalate delays as appropriate.

  • Train new hires and coach individual to meet team objectives and operational goals.

  • Monitor metrics and performance indicators to control operational cost and quality.

  • Review and analyze business processes, procedures, and systems to identify risks and priorities for improving operational effectiveness and order management.

  • Handle all escalated cases from specialist to executive to bring to proper resolution with stakeholders.

  • Conduct Compliance audits and training as required.

  • Comply with all ISO 13485 requirements and BD policies.

  • Ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace by observing Company’s rules and procedures. Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement and reduction of resource materials.

  • Processes instrument repair requests.

  • Regularly provides department team lead/ regional lead with relevant information regarding activities, problems, issues related to Order Management Representatives, Specialists and Executives assigned accounts and tasks.

  • Assists with the maintenance of master pricing files.

  • Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Diploma or BS/BA Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Logistics or related degree  

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer order management

  • Strong knowledge and experience of SAP system is required.

  • Strong knowledge in the end-to-end order processing workflow

  • Experience working with metrics and performance indicators for continuous improvement.

  • Experience in constructing objectives, standards & procedures.

  • Experience working in a cross-functional and international multi-site environment.

  • knowledge and experience in What-If tool, Excel, Python, Power BI or data analysis tools would be added advantages.

  • Highly customer and business oriented

  • Highly adaptive and able to work under pressure.

  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach to work

  • Ability to work independently and strategically.

  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal & communication skills

  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of other Asian languages is an added asset.

  • Knowledge of logistics processes will be added advantages
