The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated to grow within the organization in the future, thrives in an environment of creativity and accountability, and can perform at a high level across a wide array of assignments.Under the leadership and direction of associates within the Global AR&R Marketing team, this semester long internship will offer the opportunity for a student to gain experience by assisting in the execution of internal marketing and sales acceleration initiatives, as well as supporting B2B marketing campaigns for specialized technologies with the surgical space.
The position also offers opportunities to participate in data gathering and analysis, meetings with marketing and cross-functional team members, attend other company meetings, and will have the opportunity to participate in several 1:1 meetings with the leadership at BD to discuss career options in the medical device field.

SUMMARY
BD is seeking to hire a marketing intern. The candidate will work closely with our team on projects including but not limited to product development, sales & marketing materials, social media campaigns, and more! This position will allow you to gain experience in medical device industry while learning more about healthcare.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist marketing department by organizing, planning, and coordinating marketing activities
• Assist marketing department by maintaining and updating various databases
• Work with designers and outside vendors as needed to ensure timely completion of assigned projects
• Attend meetings and take notes as directed
• Prepare reports as requested
• Develop presentations and coordinate logistics for events as needed
• Other duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university
• Interest in marketing within the medical device industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior relevant work/internship experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
