Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Director Procurement – Business Partner for PI, the Business Procurement Manager serves as a key point of contact and interface from procurement for the assigned business, function or region providing strategic procurement leadership to that organization.The Business Procurement Manager engages the appropriate business leaders and stakeholders and is responsible for the execution of the sourcing strategy associated with the assigned portfolio of direct spend categories. The Business Procurement Manager ensures alignment of procurement goals with assigned business and leads discussions for alignment.
The associate in this role works across both Procurement and the assigned business(es), and leverages strong business acumen and analytic capability to integrate sourcing, category and business strategies as well as the procure to pay process. The Business Procurement Manager supports and manages governance processes on direct and indirect spend for the assigned business.

Detailed Responsibilities:
Global Procurement Representative in Leadership Team meetings for the assigned platform/s or categories
Leads the execution of Cost to Win program in its assigned platform by leveraging broader Direct Procurement Organizations.
Lead and provides structure, governance, on critical programs across the Business Unit Platforms.
Leads Global ideation and pipeline creation of Cost to Win initiatives.
Partners and co-leads negotiations with Global Category Managers.
Manage programs in which Design to Value, Procurement Business Solutions or Supplier facing team support is necessary.
Influence Direct category strategies to ensure they resolve needs for assigned platform.
Ensures alignment of procurement goals with assigned business platform and key global programs.
Advocates & help develop for the implementation of Procurement Category Strategies in the assigned platform.
Works with platforms leaders thru the vetting process to ensure Cost Savings, Cash Preservation, Contracting, Supplier performance improvement, and Risk mitigation projects are funded.
Manage the Metals and Contract Manufacturing categories for the PI business
Accountable to enter and manage all SIEVO information for the overall PI Global Procurement initiatives
Identifies and develops suppliers that enable supply chain improvement for the assigned platform.
Creates or improves processes that strategically address chronic problems.
Works with the other global Procurement Business Partners in the Business Unit and/or across the different segments to address problems in a standardize way.
Customer concern on supply continuity issues.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of Engineering and/or Business and Desirable MBA degree.
Minimum 5 of work experience
Experienced in managing Global team
Broad business knowledge and acumen
Experience in driving Quality Improvement, Strategic Sourcing, Risk reduction and Operational improvement programs.
Strong program management skills for small-medium programs
Experience in Supply Chain and logistics.
Able to execute with supplier value management, supplier development and continuous improvement
Working and influencing LT level within a highly matrixed organization
Skilled at developing partnerships; building and maintaining strong working relationships
A proven track record of Exeuting programs and collaborating with others to reach mutual outcomes
Adept at leading and working in diverse and ambiguous environments
Travel about 30%

Technical and Engineering knowledge.
