Summary of Job Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this position will be to operate the hypo tube filling line, working safely within established guidelines and regulations. The operator will also be responsible for keeping equipment in good repair through regular inspections and reporting any problems or issues promptly. In addition, they will need to maintain accurate records related to production and quality control as well as participating in continuous improvement initiatives when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Fill syringes with contrast media according to specifications provided by supervisor/manager

• Inspect all products prior to packaging to ensure there are no visible defects or contamination

• Package product into appropriate containers (plastic bags, boxes) ensuring proper sterility and labeling standards are met at all times

• Monitor the entire process from start to finish, making adjustments where needed to ensure smooth operation of machinery and timely completion of tasks

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, inspecting, and replacing parts as necessary

• Maintain accurate records regarding production levels, waste material generated during manufacturing processes, and other relevant data

• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and reducing costs

• Adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times, wearing protective gear such as gloves, masks, and eye protection when required

• Collaborate effectively with coworkers to achieve common goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

• Previous experience operating automated machinery preferred but not essential

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and documents such as safety rules, memos, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy and procedure manuals

• Basic knowledge of computer systems and software applications used in manufacturing environments

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal

• Detail oriented individual capable of paying close attention to minute details while still maintaining overall perspective

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift

• Comfortable working in cold environment (freezer)

• Available to work overtime as needed
