Job Description
As a result of the combination of the BD Biosciences and Diagnostic Solutions business with Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT),byapplyingtothis role, you will be applying for a position with Waters.

Job Overview
Manages day to day manufacturing activities to ensure goals areaccomplishedand communication occurs within the group and across all functions/shifts. This includes providing leadership inday to daymanufacturing operation activity, employee career development, and overall coaching support to the manufacturing team.

Manages day to day manufacturing activities to ensure goals areaccomplishedand communication occurs within the group and across all functions/shifts. This includes providing leadership inday to daymanufacturing operation activity, employee career development, and overall coaching support to the manufacturing team.
Will alsobe responsible forthe control of all material flows, manufacturing operations, and the supervision of the various teams.
Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with manufacturingoperations
Provides training to associates including on-boarding and/or new procedures
Leads continuous improvement recommendations and/or solutions to support overall operational efficiency
Leads and/or provides support on special projects
Provides coaching to associates on day-to-day activities and performance
Responsible for assigning and distributing workloads
Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Must follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedures
Must follow all BD safety policies and procedures
Does yearly performance reviews of the team and ensures every individual has an active development plan in place and does regular 1:1s with each team member to review performance and help them to grow.
Collaborate with Logistics to establish production schedules and monitor delivery performance versus schedule.
Ensure regular, timely, and accurate assessments of hourly associates are delivered through coaching activities.
Works with associates to resolve issues, concerns, and involves HR when needed.
Performs on floor duties required to support the needs of the business, such as, packaging, 5S etc...
Run Tier meetings. Also, leads shift start-up meeting, at 2:00 p.m. (ET) once a month.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education
Bachelor’s degree with 1 yearexperiencemanufacturing experience in Food,Pharmaand Industrial production settings. Must have experience working in a regulated environment (FDA).
Associate’sdegree with 5yearsmanufacturing experience in Food,Pharmaand Industrial production settings. Must have experience working in a regulated environment (FDA).
High school degree with10yearsmanufacturing experience in Food,Pharmaand Industrial production settings. Must have experience working in a regulated environment (FDA).
Minimum 5 years of supervisor experience.
Experience leading off shifts.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools
Working knowledge of SAP
Proven people management experience, ideally managing teams of 30+ employees.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to seek and accept feedback from others.
Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to share knowledge with others.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, process validations, safe work practices, and ISO 9000 requirements.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Must be capable of sharing knowledge and developing associates.
Ability to work with all levels of personnel from company president to production associates.
Ability to plan at a highlevel, butexecute at the detail level.
SAP (PP/PE) is required.
