Job Description Summary

The Associate Staff Graphic Specialist will be part of a team focused on Sustaining engineering & NPD activities to support the Infusion Preparation and Delivery (IPD) Platform. Under the direction of the IPD Leadership team and/or team lead, (s)he will develop product labeling (primary, secondary, and tertiary) and associated product literature and e-literature. (S)he will maintain Corporate Branding Standards as well as adhering to Country and Industry Regulations along with Corporate and Divisional Procedures. (S)he will primarily support MDS and may have some cross divisional work in critical workload surge situations. (S)he will lead the efforts to create or update product labels and packages for new product development or sustaining engineering projects & also will support project teams on design development activities like test sample preparing, study tests, data analysis, report generating etc.

Creates and/or modifies artwork based on project requirements.
 Proactively develop, maintain & share technical knowledge in specialized area(s),
remaining up to date on current trends and best practices.
 Provides assurance that the quality of all artwork and design graphics complies with BD Medical and Corporate Brand standards.
 Share his/ her’s technical expertise to the team by conducting and/ or enabling knowledge
sharing sessions.

 Co-ordinate release of finished artwork, pdfs, and/or Jpegs with external vendors.
 Ensures proper design and development documentation as per ISO 13485/FDA QSR Quality System
 Ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace by observing Company’s procedures and ISO 14001 regulations. Actively involved in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement, and reduction of resource materials.
 Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Associate or bachelor's degree in graphic design or Package or Mechanical engineering or Equivalent in relatable technical field of study. Minimum 12 years of experience in engineering/technical field, with 3 years demonstrated project and team leadership, preferably in the medical device industry with successful track record of project completion.A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in Graphic Design. Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge
 Knowledge of printing process for proper prepress work and file preparation.
 Demonstrates ability as a creative designer of products and applied graphics within a 2D/3D design space.
 Extensive experience with Macintosh computer graphics and Design programs (Adobe Illustrator, In Design, Acrobat, and Photoshop) MS Excel and On-Demand Labelling software.
 Knowledgeable and adherent to BD Quality and Corporate Policies.
