Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician works in the Engineering department and performs various duties to support the manufacturing of finished goods and raw materials.
Essential / Key Job Responsibilities (including supervisory and/or fiscal):
Perform a variety of routine and complex maintenances on facility and manufacturing equipment
Ensure the manufacturing systems are operating within defined parameters
Basic mechanical design
Database maintenance
Technical, maintenance, and troubleshooting support throughout the facility
Identification and execution of engineering and continuous improvement projects (cost, throughput, procedures, etc.)
Troubleshooting/repairing of facility equipment
Follow established procedures and Quality System Regulations
Understand and follow the established corporate safety standard, local facility operating procedures and safety policies.
Operate under minimal supervision
Perform other duties as assigned
Develop training programs
Train Manufacturing Technicians on operational maintenance
Lead projects
Minimum Requirement:
High School Diploma or GED
2-year Technical Degree preferred
AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience required
4 years manufacturing experience preferred
